Day 1: Arrival in Rio de Janeiro

Arrival and transfer to HOTEL COPA SUL *** or similar

Experience the glamor and rhythm of a colorful Rio de Janeiro. Rio means Carnival, symbolized by the exciting music, exotic costumes, and rhythmic dance of the samba, a fusion of Portuguese, native, and African influences. You’ll be caught up in the excitement of this cultural journey, with a spectacular city known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

  

Day 2: Rio de Janeiro Tour

Breakfast and Excursion to Corcovado and Sugar Loaf. Visit the city’s most famous attraction, the “Marvel of Rio “, more commonly known as Christ Redeemer, chosen as one of the seven wonders of the modern world. Located at a height of 710 meters, it is one of the most visited tourist points in the city. From the summit, the sight is celestial. From there, we will be able to see the beaches, the Lagoon Rodrigo de Freitas, Maracaná’s stadium, the downtown, and the north zone, among other places.

Day 3: Leisure Day in Rio

Breakfast. This is the day to enjoy the world-famous Copacabana beach or Praia de Copacabana. It’s a breathtaking 2.5 mi (4.5 km) stretch of bright sand that’s filled with people luxuriating in the sun and soaking up the atmosphere. As night descends, the lights go on, and football is played until the wee hours. The busy sidewalks can get seedy at night, so take care. It is possible to visit Rio and never leave Copacabana. Many hotels are situated here, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars, as well as some decent shopping.

Day 4: Flight to Iguazu Falls

Transfer to the airport to board your domestic flight to Iguazu Falls.

Day 5: Argentinian Iguazu Falls Tour

After breakfast, the Argentine side Tour of the waterfalls. On the transfer to the Argentinean side of Iguassu Falls, visitors will cross a bridge measuring 480 meters in length and built in 1985, known popularly as the “International Fraternity Bridge” although its official name is International Tancredo Neves Bridge, connecting the two countries, Brazil (Foz do Iguaçu) and Argentina (Puerto Iguazu). The Iguassu Falls on the Argentine side is in the Iguazú National Park, province of Misiones, 28 kilometers from the center of Foz do Iguaçu and 45 kilometers from the Tropical Hotel das Cataratas of the Cataracts. The bridge lies approximately 20 kilometers downstream from Iguassu Falls and just 2 kilometers upstream from the confluence of the Iguaçu and Paraná Rivers, where visitors will be able to have a panoramic view of the Three-Frontier Landmark on each corner of the three borders: Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina. Upon arrival at the Iguazú National Park visitors will pass through a Visitors’ Center equipped with excellent infrastructures such as toilets, medical emergency, and interpretation panels on the biodiversity of the Park, from where they will leave for the two stations of the ecological trains, idealized to transport people to the Park’s attractions with a low environmental impact: with a duration of 20 minutes approximately as far as the several points of interest. The first stop will be at Cataratas Station, where the visit to the Upper and Lower parts of Iguassu Falls begins. After the end of this tour, passengers will board the train again for the Devil’s Throat Station, one of the Falls’ most important observation points.

Day 6: Brazilian Side & Flight to Buenos Aires

After we will cross the border to the Brazilian side of the falls. One of the most beautiful among the world’s natural postcards, the Iguassu Falls are in Foz do Iguaçu and are a few minutes from the city. The Falls in the Iguassu National Park are considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Natural World. Created on January 10, 1939, and listed in 1986 by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Site, the Iguassu National Park is one of the largest forest reserves in South America and is important for protecting the State’s renewable resources.

After passing through the Visitors’ Center, the tour continues through a road that crosses the Park and takes us to the wonderful Iguassu Falls. Along the way, information and instructions about the area are provided. Once at the Falls, the tour takes place over an easy-to-walk path of approximately 1.200 meters, allowing contact with the host coatis. It is an unforgettable and emotional trip!

Transfer to fly to Buenos Aires, Argentina

Day 7: Buenos Aires City Tour

Breakfast. City Tour: In this tour, we invite you to discover Buenos Aires, considered the “Reina del Plata”. Starting the tour around the center of the city, where the most attractive places are located: Av. 9 de Julio, Colón Theatre, and the Obelisk, “the symbol of Buenos Aires”. We will continue towards Plaza de Mayo and later to the south of the city, passing through San Telmo with its “tanguerías”, La Boca, and Caminito. Continuing to Puerto Madero, the renewed port of the city, and an important gastronomic area. We will also visit the biggest green space in Buenos Aires, Palermo, with its parks and buildings, and Recoleta, where culture and elegance live together. Overnight at Hotel Waldorf.

Day 8:Buenos Aires & Tango Show

  • After breakfast, you can explore some of the hidden jewels of Buenos Aires. Here are a few ideas:
    • Visit the San Telmo neighborhood, which is home to El Viejo Almacén. This is a great place to wander around and take in the sights and sounds of the city.
  • Evening: You will attend the El Viejo Almacén tango show in the evening. This is a great opportunity to see a traditional tango performance and enjoy a delicious dinner.

         Here are some additional details about the show:

  • The show starts at 8:30 p.m. and lasts for approximately two hours.
  • The dinner is a three-course meal with wine.
  • The show is held at El Viejo Almacén, which is a historic tango venue in the San Telmo neighborhood.

Day 9: Flight Peru

After breakfast. Transfer out to take your flight to Lima.

Upon arrival at the Lima Airport, you will be received by a service person. Transfer to your hotel, Boutique Equo or similar.

Lima was founded in 1535 and, and a short time, became the most important city in the Americas. Today, there are more than eight million inhabitants, and the city shelters immigrants from all corners of the globe, which has transformed it into a mixed city par excellence.

During this trip, you must also remember to sample one of the best cuisines in the world. The city offers a wide variety of restaurants and inviting locales where you will be able to taste delicious dishes, the result of the mixing of European, African, Asian, and Andean cuisines.

 

 

Day 10: Lima city tour

HD City Tour: This excursion offers the best combination of the different attractions in Lima. On the way to the Historic Centre, observe a Pre-Colombian site, Huaca Pucllana (not entering). Visit Bodega & Quadra Museum, a house containing remains of the wall protecting Lima built in the 17th century, and an exhibition of artifacts used during the viceroyalty. Visit the Santo Domingo Convent, proof of the importance of Catholicism during the viceroyalty. Observe the Change of Guards (subject to the Government Palace program and allowance to enter the main square).

Day 11: Flight Cuzco

Transfer to the airport to take the regular flight to Cusco.

The rest of the day will be free at your leisure to acclimatize to the altitude.

The former capital of the Inca Empire carries the title of the Archeological Capital of America with pride. Cusco means “navel” in the local Quechua language, and it certainly still fits this description today, as it is at the center of Andean culture.

Day 12: Cuzco sacred valley tour

Full-day excursion to the “Sacred Valley of the Incas”, by the Vilcanota River. We will have the opportunity to share closely the peasants’ customs and bargain with vendors at the typical Indian market of Pisac. Lunch in a local countryside restaurant. After lunch, passing through the Towns of Calca and Urubamba, we visit the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to this part of the Valley and protect it from possible invasion from the tribes in the Lower jungle. The Fortress consists of a series of stepped carved stone terraces accessed by long staircases. Later, you can walk through the quaint streets of the nearby town and get a good idea of what this Strategic Military, Religious, and Agricultural Centre was like during the era of the Inca Empire. Transfer to the Hotel Agustos***.

Day 13 Cuzco Machu Picchu Cuzco

The day starts with an early morning rise to transfer to Ollanta Train Station (02 Hours from Cusco) for a train journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, also known as “The Lost City of the Incas”, one of the best-known examples of surviving Inca architecture. Arrive at Aguas Calientes Station, followed by a 30-minute bus drive, climbing 6km of winding road, to the marvelous Citadel. Upon arrival, you will participate in a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the sacred sundial (the most important preserved Intihuatana), the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, and various burial grounds.

In the afternoon, return to Ollanta, arrive, and transfer to Cusco.

Day 14: Cuzco-Lima – USA:

Cuzco, after breakfast, visit landmarks like Plaza de Armas and Sacsayhuaman. Afternoon transfer to take your flight back to Lima to connect to the USA.
