Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Quito

You will be met by one of our representatives upon arrival at Quito Airport and transferred to your hotel.
Overnight: Embassy Hotel or similar – Quito. 

Day 2: Quito City Tour & Middle of the World

  • After breakfast, we explore the historic center of Quito, visiting the Basilica Church, Independence Square, and the Presidential Palace. You’ll also discover the Equinox Solar Museum, where you’ll learn about local traditions and even the recipe for Quito-style quesadillas!
    In the afternoon, we head to the “Middle of the World City” to visit the monument dividing the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Explore the Intiñan Museum and its fascinating equatorial experiments.
    Overnight: Embassy Hotel or similar – Quito.
    Meals: Breakfast. 

Day 3 Papallacta hot springs

After breakfast, all luggage must be on the bus, and then you`re off to Papallacta Hot Springs. You will go along the road used by Francisco de Orellana on his journey to discover the Amazon River, and you will see and appreciate beautiful landscapes throughout the Andean Mountains. Upon arrival, you will make a short walk to recognize the flora and fauna of the area. Papallacta Hot Springs have thermal pools with healing properties. The source temperature of the thermal baths varies between 30°C and 70°C (86°F and 158°F), and the pool`s temperature ranges from 36°C to 40°C (97°F to 104°F). It`s recommended to wear warm clothes, a bathing suit, rain protection, sunscreen, a hat, good walking shoes, and bring an extra pair of socks. At the end of the tour, you will have accommodation at the Wyndham Hotel (near the airport).

Day 4: Flight to Galapagos – Chato reserve (Santa Cruz Island)-.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your included flight to the Galápagos Islands.

Upon arrival in Baltra, meet your guide and transfer by ferry and road to Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island.
After check-in and lunch at the Deja Vu Hotel, visit El Chato Reserve in the highlands to see giant Galápagos tortoises in their natural habitat, along with unique birds such as finches and Vermilion Flycatchers.
Overnight: Deja Vu Hotel – Santa Cruz
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 5: Tortuga Bay Beach & Charles Darwin research station

After breakfast, enjoy a guided walk to Tortuga Bay, one of the most beautiful white-sand beaches in the Galápagos.
In the afternoon, visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, where you’ll learn about conservation efforts and see various species of native flora and fauna.

Day 6: Bay tour – shark channel, Iguana Beach & love canal

Start the day at 8:00 AM with a Bay Tour. Visit the Shark Channel to see sea lions and reef sharks, then head to Iguana Beach to observe marine iguanas and blue-footed boobies. Finally, relax at the tranquil Love Canal with its crystal-clear waters.
Afternoon at leisure.
Overnight: Deja Vu Hotel – Santa Cruz

Day 7: Santa Fe island – beach landing (B,L)

After breakfast, you will sail for an hour to Santa Fe Island. From the yacht, you’ll be able to see the colonies of sea birds, such as pelicans, boobies, and gulls, and many sea lions. The calm sea is perfect for snorkeling. You will have the opportunity to swim with manta rays, tropical fish, and sometimes sea turtles. Lunch will be provided on board, and once arriving on a white-sand beach, you can relax, take pictures, and enjoy the Galapagos sun. In addition, you can enjoy an experiential fishing on the island.

Day 8: Departure

  • After breakfast, on the way to the airport, we´ll stop over at this unique place known as Sunken Holes. Los Gemelos (or the Twin Craters) are not, in fact, craters – although no less impressive for it! These two large pits were formed by the collapse of empty magma chambers following a volcanic eruption. They are easily accessible from the Puerto Ayora to Baltra Road, allowing you to take a flight back to Quito to connect internationally to the USA.
