During the afternoon We will pick you up at your hotel and We will begin the tour leaving from San Pedro de Atacama towards the Salt Mountain Range in the Atacama Desert, the driest place on earth, towards one of its most picturesque points: the Valley of the Moon.

The names already give a clear clue to the landscape, where rock formations modeled by erosion, sheets of salt, the Greater Dune, and views that will make you feel like you are on another planet reign.

We will visit the Tres Marías, the Canyon, and the Amphitheater. To end the tour, we will enjoy the sunset from the Licarantay viewpoint, where you will be able to see how the desert changes color, with large volcanoes on the horizon, offering a spectacle that will leave you speechless. Breakfast at the hotel. We will start the tour by visiting Laguna Cejar which has a high concentration of salt so you can float as if you were in the Dead Sea, the Lagoon has a beautiful calypso color and is surrounded by salts of various shapes.

Then we go to the Ojos del Salar, two deep freshwater wells located like an oasis in the middle of the desert where we can observe its intense greenish color. We will finish with a visit to the Tebenquiche Lagoon, a nature sanctuary, and a salt mirror where We will walk through beautiful trails observing the biodiversity of the environment, highlighting the importance of wildlife conservation, which is home to foxes, flamingos, and microorganisms that live in extreme situations where there are only 3 places in the world, Chile being one of them. return in the afternoon. Accommodation.

Breakfast at the hotel. In this incredible destination, we will visit one of the most important geothermal fields in the world “Geysers del Tatio”, located at 4200 meters above sea level. It is the largest group of geysers in the southern hemisphere and the third largest in the world.

At dawn we head towards one of the entrances to the Andean highlands, where we will go directly to one of the most important geothermal fields in the world, the “Geyser del Tatio” with 80 Geysers with their smoking fumaroles, a unique spectacle in the world, where we will stay around of approximately 1 hour and 30 min, then we will enjoy a rich buffet breakfast to continue our journey back where we will enter the hills and mountains of the Andes Mountains we will contemplate important high altitude ecosystems of rich biodiversity such as the Machuca and Vados bofedales from Putana. On the night, around 9:00 p.m. we will go to the meeting point to begin our astronomical tour. Transportation to the Ayllu de Cucuter where the sky offers itself to contact us with the cosmos

Cosmological introduction and recognition of the celestial vault through the constellations. Astrophotography and observation of at least 7 objects through high-end telescopes including image stacking and deep space astrophotography through the Evscope.

Breakfast at the hotel. We will pick you up at your hotel in the morning to start the trip out of the city. The tour to the Piedras Rojas and Altiplanic Lagoons will take us through important tourist places within the Atacama desert. To get to the Piedras Rojas lagoon, or Aguas Calientes salt flat as it is also known, we will have to go up in our vehicle to 3800 meters of altitude and walk for 1 hour and 15 minutes, to see these copper-colored rocks, in addition to the lagoons and salt flats around. Later, we will move to the sector of the Miscanti and Miñiques Altiplanic lagoons, where our guide will give us some explanations regarding the flora and fauna that inhabit the place. Also, we will make a stop at the Chaxa Lagoon, where you can see flamingos. In the same way, we will pass through Socaire and the Tropic of Capricorn, where we will make a short stop to take pictures. Then, we will return to San Pedro de Atacama to finish our tour.
