Old Delhi – Drive past the magnificent Red Fort (closed on Mondays) and Jama Masjid. Drive past Kotla Firoze Shah, ruins of an old fort of the 14th century. Visit Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948.
Drive through the old city subject to traffic conditions.
Afternoon embark on tour of New Delhi – Drive past the Presidential Palace, the Rashtrapati Bhavan, through the impressive Rajpath to the World War I memorial arch, photo stop at the India Gate, Visit the Qutub Minar, the 2-meter-high Minaret. and the ruins of Quwat-ul-Eslam (Light of Islam) Mosque. See Delhi’s most curious antiques, the uncorroded Iron Pillar, which dates to the 4th century AD & Humayun’s Tomb. After visit return to hotel. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today drive to Mandawa in the heart of the semi-arid Shekhawati region, famous for its beautiful havelis, known as the world’s largest open-air art gallery. On arrival check into the hotel.
Afternoon visit the Mandawa Fort, located in the very heart of Mandawa a sublime example of the renowned Rajput style of architecture. This house has many graceful paintings and wall paintings that blinding the eyes & have now been converted into a heritage hotel. Take a tour of old Havelis and walk around this quaint town. Overnight stay at Mandawa.

Morning check-out from hotel and drive to Bikaner– the mesmerising music of the desert is echoed in Bikaner, a medieval flavoured city set along the old caravan route which linked Central Asia & North India with the Gujarat seaports. Charming havelis (mansions) stand in the old part of this walled city and a leisurely lifestyle still prevails in this sublimely picturesque place surrounded by harsh desert. On arrival check into the hotel.
Afternoon enjoy a half day city tour, visit Junagarh Fort and local havelis. The Junagarh Fort at 700 ft above sea level, was built by Rai Singh between 1588 and 1593. It has a 986m wall with 37 bastions, a moat and 2 entrances. The fort and its palaces are decorated with magnificent stone carvings. Later visit a Camel Breeding Farm to watch the camels return from a day out in the desert. Facilities like camel riding and Safari are also available at this breeding farm. Overnight at Bikaner.
Early breakfast at the hotel. Later check out from the hotel and drive to Jaisalmer – the heart of the Thar Desert. Known as the “Golden City,” it’s distinguished by its yellow sandstone architecture. On arrival check into the hotel. Evening is free to relax. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer.
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning, enjoy a half day tour of Jaisalmer Fort, also called as Golden Fort – the main attraction of this picturesque desert city. It is a World Heritage site. Located on the top of the Trikuta Hill, it is visible from 15 km. It is believed to be one of the very few “living forts” in the world, as nearly one fourth of the old city’s population still resides within.
Visit the Maharaja’s Palace, Jain Temples and the famous Havelis – (Patwao Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, Nathmal Ki Haveli) Gadisar Museum and Mandir Palace within the fort.
Late afternoon, enjoy a camel safari on the Sam Sand Dunes on gaily caparisoned camels. Evening return to hotel. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer.
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning check out from the hotel and drive to Jodhpur – with its gentle atmosphere belies a stormy yet glorious past. Its walls, seven gates and numerous bastions and towers were built in the 16th century by Rao Maldeo. 393 feet above the flat surrounding plains soars a bold bluff on which was built the massive Meherangarh (Majestic) Fort. In the old city’s maze of old lanes lie several palaces, havelis and some temples. On arrival check into the hotel. In the evening, drive around the city and visit Ummaid Bhawan Palace (from outside). Overnight stay at Jodhpur.
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning check out from hotel and drive to Udaipur, En-route visit of Ranakpur Temple – which is around 185 Kms and a drive of around 31⁄2-4 hours. (Temple opens from 1200 to 1700 Hours and guide are prohibited in the temple premises.) Visit of Ranakpur Temples-in a deep, secluded valley at Ranakpur are the most magnificent Jain temples in India.
Post visit drive to Udaipur – ‘the city of lakes’ is praised for its fairy-tale palaces, lakes, temples, and gardens among many more. On arrival check into the hotel. Overnight Stay at Udaipur.
Today procced for Udaipur city tour. Visit the City Palace, once the home of Mewar’s rulers, is today a museum. It consists of several flawlessly integrated palaces which overlook the clear blue of Lake Pichola. Visit Sahelion- ki-bari. Drive around Fateh Sagar Lake excavated in the late 17th century by Maharana Feteh Singh and past the Puppet Museum (Lok Kala Mandal) and the statue of Maharana Pratap (Moti Magri).
Later in the afternoon enjoy a common boat ride on Lake Pichola. Overnight Stay at Udaipur.
Today morning check out from hotel and drive to Pushkar – Home to rare temples, shrines and picturesque locations. On arrival check into the hotel.
Afternoon proceed on a sightseeing tour of Pushkar – is best known for its Brahma Temple built in the 14th century standing on a high platform near Pushkar Lake. This is the only temple in the world where Lord Brahma – Creator of the Universe, is worshipped. While Pushkar is a city of pilgrimage with over 500 temples and ghats, it is also popular for its annual Camel Fair, held during October/November. Visit temples and the ghats of the Lake. Evening return to hotel. Overnight stay at Pushkar.
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning drive to Jaipur – called as “Pink City” for its trademark building colours. On arrival check into the hotel.
Rest of the day is free to relax / explore local markets famous for block printing textile, handicraft, gem stones, jewellery, blue pottery etc. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Early breakfast and proceed on full day sightseeing tour. Visit Amber Fort– just 7 miles north of Jaipur is Amber with its a honey-coloured fortress-palace in the Aravalli Hills which can be mounted by Jeep. It has been described as “the sleeping beauty of Rajasthan”. The sombre exterior belies the richness of the royal apartments which open on to striking views of the gorge. It also possesses a Chamber of Mirrors. The Hall of Victory presents a galaxy of decorative art – panels of alabaster with fine inlay work of the tenderest hues.
Later Afternoon city tour of Jaipur. It is the city which has the “tone of the autumn sunset” photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) an elaborate building encrusted with delicate honeycomb screens and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could view the world outside. Jai Singh’s Observatory built in the 17th century by the founder of Jaipur who, besides being a prince was also soldier, astronomer, and builder. City Palace now a museum contains fine Rajput and Moghul paintings, rare manuscripts, and an armoury. Later return to hotel or time is free for explore the local bazaars in the Old City. Overnight stay at Jaipur.

Morning drive to Agra En-route visit of Fatehpur Sikri-37 kms west of Agra lies the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri-an epic poem in red sandstone, built by Emperor Akbar the Great in 1569 and deserted 14 years later because its water supply failed. After visit proceed for Agra and on arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Agra.
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit of Taj Mahal – (Closed on Friday)- the greatest love story ever told. On the death of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, in wild extravagance, Shahjehan built her this memorial. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this wealth of white marble and precious stone. Late visit of Agra Fort – behind its forbidding red sandstone battlements lie palaces that tell the story of the Moghul Empire. The most impressive part of the Fort is the Dewan-e-Am, where the emperor sat on his throne to dispense to his subjects, and the Dewan-e-Khas where he received foreign dignitaries. Post visit proceed drive to Delhi on arrival check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Delhi.
