You are met by an Explorer Tour representative at the airport in Guayaquil and provide transfers at La Vieja Cuba Hotel + Breakfast.
After breakfast, we will go to Papallacta Hotsprings. Departure in the morning and we will go along the road used by Francisco de Orellana on his journey to discover the Amazon River, we will appreciate beautiful landscapes through the Andean Mountains with mystery and one of the best refuges of sweet water describe this incredible ecosystem. Upon arrival we will make a short walk to recognize the flora and fauna native from the place. Thermal pools with healing properties: The source temperature of the thermal baths varies between 30°C and 70°C (86°F and 158°F). At the pools the temperature ranges from 36°C to 40°C (97°F to 104°F).It recommended to wear: Warm clothes, bathing suit, rain protection, sunscreen, hat, good walking shoes and an extra pair of socks.
Depart from Quito through the Pan-American North Highway until arriving to Cayambe, where the passengers will have the opportunity to taste the delicious “Bizcochos de Cayambe”, a type of cracker or bread baked in a clay oven (greatly paired with local cheese or caramel sauce). Afterwards, we will make a brief stop at “Miralago”, to admire a wonderful view of Lago San Pablo, amazing views. The tour then continues to Otavalo where Otavaleños (natives) set up a market in which a bartering manner of shopping is taken place. The market hosts a variety of different handcrafted items.
Passengers may choose between staying longer in Otavalo or go to visit to the leather shops at Cotacachi. On the way to Cotacachi, we will visit a traditional workshop of Andean instruments “Ñanda Mañachi” located in Peguche and then reach Iluman, land of shamans and healers, where we will have the opportunity to witness an ancestral indigenous ritual by a Shaman.
In Cotacachi you have enough time to visit the village, the shops of leather goods and free time for lunch, (not included). Return to Quito
Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will have the transfer to Quito airport to take Galapagos flight. When you arrive on Baltra airport, we would cross by ferry to Santa Cruz island from where we must take a speed boat going to Isabela Island, once there we will check – in at the hotel, and we´ll visit the Wetlands to see the giant tortoise, Galápagos’ flamingos, marine iguanas, and we will enjoy the sunset on the beach, swimming is great…
After breakfast, the guide will take us to the pier to meet with the group for our excursion.. We must take a local boat to get to Tintoreras islet. The boat ride is 45 min time, watching the galápagos penguins, eagle rays, sea lions, sea turtles, blue footy boobies, among others. After this amazing boat ride we will land on the island for our hike on the lava field… “Tintoreras island” where we meet the largest marine iguanas of Galápagos, and if the tide is high; from de viewpoint, is possible to see the white tip shark ( local name tintoreras), and finally we will have an amazing snorkeling activity with sea turtles, sea lions, penguins, marine iguanas, rays and sharks..
After lunch in town, we are going to take a public boat to get to Santa Cruz island. (2 hours navigation).

We will visit LAS GRIETAS. This is a unique place and we will have the opportunity to snorkel in a canyon formed by the sea and fresh water springs, observation of seabirds (blue footed boobies, pelicans, frigates, herons, gulls) crabs and marine iguanas. Lunch included. Hotel Pelican Bay accommodation and dinner at the community restaurant.
Breakfast included (hotel). 08:00 AM We will walk to Tortuga Bay beach. “2km” (swimming, bird watching, reptiles, sharks, marine iguanas) Lunch at the local restaurant. In the afternoon we`ll head out by private car to the highland of Santa Cruz to visit the Rancho El Chato. (Giant tortoises in wild state, Lava Tunnels) Dinner in town.
After breakfast, we sail an hour to Santa Fe Island. From the yacht, we see on its huge cliffs a forest of giant cacti endemic to this island. In the calm, turquoise waters of the bay are colonies of sea birds, such as pelicans, boobies and gulls, and many sea lions. Snorkeling is fantastic. We will swim with manta rays and tropical fish, and sometimes see sea turtles. We will have lunch on board and then land on a beautiful, white-sand beach. There we will relax, take photos and enjoy the Galapagos sun, before returning to the hotel.
In addition, you can enjoy an Experiential fishing in the island.
In the afternoon we will visit the Charles Darwin Research to get information about the role of the National Park with the wildlife.
Breakfast hotel. 06:30 approach the dock to take public boat. Sailing to San Cristóbal (2 hours). Lodging/. In the morning Visit to the highland of San Cristobal. (Duration 4 hours in private car). We will visit the dormant volcano with a lake inside called El Junco, ideal for pictures, after this point, we will continue our Lunch in the locality. AFTERNOON Visit to La Lobería Beach: snorkeling with turtles and baby sea lions. Dinner in town.
Breakfast Hotel. At 08:00 Departure to KICKER ROCK tour (Majestic volcanic rock formation) and Visit to Cerro Brujo Beach (beach with coral sand and turquoise waters). Short navigation Snorkel with sharks, sea turtles and sea lions. Lunch included on board. Free afternoon and Farewell dinner.
Breakfast hotel. Visit to the Interpretation Center- transfer to the airport.
Flight Galapagos to Quito. In the airport, you are met by an Explorer Tour representative and provide transfers at Hotel in Guayaquil.
In the afternoon. City tour. Visit to the main attractions of Guayaquil: Seminar Park, San Pedro Cathedral, Municipal Palace, Simon Bolívar Boardwalk, Rotunda Hemicycle, Las Peñas Traditional District, Santa Ana Port and Historic Park, among others.
Overnight in Guayaquil.
After breakfast, transfer out for taking international flight.
