Welcome to Perú
Arrival to Lima, reception and transfer to select Hotel. Overnight. Check in 15:00hrs.
Lima was founded in 1535 and in a short period became the most important city in the Americas. Today, there are more than eight million inhabitants, and the city shelters immigrants from all corners of the globe, which has transformed it into a mixed city par excellence. In the historic center, placed by UNESCO on the World Cultural Heritage List, you can visit splendid samples of Colonial architecture. During this trip, you must also remember to sample one of the best cuisines in the world. The city offers a wide variety of restaurants and inviting locales where you will be able to taste delicious dishes, the result of the mixing of European, African, Asian, and Andean cuisines.
Enjoy a morning tour to Lima. This excursion offers the best combination of the different attractions in Lima and its three historical periods: pre-Hispanic, colonial and contemporary. The Peruvian Viceroyalty was the most important one in the Spanish Empire and Lima was its capital. The highlights of its historical center are its architecture and the urban design of the city, found in the old streets filled with colonial houses adorned with Moorish-style balconies. Our trip includes the Paseo de la Republica (Promenade of the Republic), Plaza San Martin (San Martin Square) and the Plaza Mayor (Main Square), with their different buildings: Palacio de Gobierno (Government Palace), Palacio Arzobispal the (Archbishop’s Palace), the Basilica Cathedral (Cathedral Basilica) and the Palacio Municipal (Municipal Palace). Visit the most traditional residential areas in the capital: The Olive Grove of San Isidro, Miraflores and Larco Mar, distinctive tourist center of contemporary Lima. Return to the hotel, rest of the afternoon at your leisure.

Anyone ever heard of Vacationsland.com?
Not only have I heard of them, but I traveled with them in May 2018. The price was amazing.. almost too good to be true, but everything was great! The meet and great at the airport was on time . The hotels were all clean and comfortable. The tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly.
I am thinking of traveling with them again!

We traveled to the Amazon and Ouro Preto in Minas Gerais, Brazil with Vacationsland.
We had a wonderful trip. We were met in Manaus by a very good guide, had a tour of the city with a tour of the Opera House - and stayed at a wonderful boutique hotel, Villa Amazonia. The Amazon Lodge was very nice and the people very friendly.
We then went to Ouro Preto - and that is a fabulous old city "BLACK GOLD". Beautiful churches, some steep walking and a great hotel there. Solar do Rosario. In the middle of town, a great location.
All arrangements were made by Vacationland. Great trip.

OMG -- The Amazon trip was nothing short of amazing. If you are looking for a great, fun adventure. Vacationsland is the way to go. The trip was nothing fancy but the experience was exceptional. I loved swimming with the pink dolphins, fishing for pirana and the boat ride down the Amazon.

I would highly recommend the agency vacationsland.com, the staff is very friendly easy to work with, get back quickly to answer any questions I may have, they got me a good price (Panama, Costa Rica). Their expertise and knowledge about the different resorts and options is very helpful.
