You are met by an Explorer Tour representative at the airport in Quito and provide transfers at La Hotel in Quito + Breakfast.
After breakfast, we will go back in time a couple of hundred years while driving around the colonial section of Quito and admire architectural monuments, la Basilica church, Independence Square, with the Presidential Palace and the colonial Churches, Visit La Ronda in Quito is a beautiful street in the Historic Center of the city. It is said to be one of the oldest streets in Quito and has been nicely restored, or you can visit the Panecillo Hill.
After, drive up to the “Middle of the World City” (entrance no included) where the monument that divides the Northern from the Southern Hemisphere will be visited. It was built during the XVII century when a French Expedition defined the precise location of the equatorial line. The “Intiñan Museum”, known as the Equinox solar Museum, can also be visited.
Overnight at Hotel in Quito + Breakfast
After breakfast, we will go to Papallacta Hotsprings. Departure in the morning and we will go along the road used by Francisco de Orellana on his journey to discover the Amazon River, we will appreciate beautiful landscapes through the Andean Mountains with mystery and one of the best refuges of sweet water describe this incredible ecosystem. Upon arrival we will make a short walk to recognize the flora and fauna native from the place. Thermal pools with healing properties: The source temperature of the thermal baths varies between 30°C and 70°C (86°F and 158°F). At the pools the temperature ranges from 36°C to 40°C (97°F to 104°F).It recommended to wear: Warm clothes, bathing suit, rain protection, sunscreen, hat, good walking shoes and an extra pair of socks.
We will visit LAS GRIETAS. This is a unique place and we will have the opportunity to snorkel in a canyon formed by the sea and fresh water springs, observation of seabirds (blue footed boobies, pelicans, frigates, herons, gulls) crabs and marine iguanas. Lunch included. Hotel Pelican Bay accommodation and dinner at the community restaurant.
Breakfast included (hotel). 08:00 AM We will walk to Tortuga Bay beach. “2km” (swimming, bird watching, reptiles, sharks, marine iguanas) Lunch at the local restaurant. In the afternoon we`ll head out by private car to the highland of Santa Cruz to visit the Rancho El Chato. (Giant tortoises in wild state, Lava Tunnels) Dinner in town.
Hotel breakfast. 08:00 am. Go to the dock of Puerto Ayora to take the bay tour: Snorkeling with sea lions, turtles, rays, sharks. Lunch included. Dinner in the locality. In the afternoon we will visit the Charles Darwin Research to get information about the role of the National Park with the wildlife.
Breakfast hotel. 06:30 approach the dock to take public boat. Sailing to San Cristóbal (2 hours). Lodging/ Casa de Laura”. In the morning Visit to the highland of San Cristobal. (Duration 4 hours in private car). Lunch in the locality. AFTERNOON Visit to La Lobería Beach: snorkeling with turtles and sea lions. Dinner in town.
Breakfast Hotel. At 08:00 Departure to KICKER ROCK tour (Majestic volcanic rock formation) and Visit to Cerro Brujo Beach (beach with coral sand and turquoise waters). Short navigation Snorkel with sharks, sea turtles and sea lions. Lunch included on board. Free afternoon and Farewell dinner.
Breakfast hotel. Visit to the Interpretation Center- transfer to the airport.
Flight Galapagos to Quito. In the airport, you are met by an Explorer Tour representative and provide transfers at Hotel in Guayaquil.
After Breakfast. City tour. Visit to the main attractions of Guayaquil: Seminar Park, San Pedro Cathedral, Municipal Palace, Simon Bolívar Boardwalk, Rotunda Hemicycle, Las Peñas Traditional District, Santa Ana Port and Historic Park, among others.
Visit to the historical park. The Historical Park of Guayaquil is a cultural, environmental, educational, recreational and tourist space that refers to the ancient city of Guayaquil, emerged at the end of the colonial era and the beginning of the Republican and that comprised almost the entire coastal region of the Ecuador.
Overnight in Guayaquil
After breakfast, transfer out for taking international flight.
