Thus, the story of the Crossing was born as a good way to merge these two neighboring countries by traversing the spine of South America, to become a century later what it constitutes today: A true eco-adventure you cannot miss.
An unforgettable circular trip around the region of the lakes in the Argentine and Chilean Patagonia. Visit the first-class tourist centers of Bariloche and San Martín de Los Andes, unique for the perfect combination of stone and wood buildings with beautiful landscapes. Travel along the incredibly beautiful Seven Lakes Route and cross the Andes Mountain Range towards Pucón, with its dense forests and Villlarica Volcano that dominates the place before continuing to the lake crossing. An incredible experience with breathtaking views of the lakes in Argentina.
Breakfast at the hotel. We will start our trip to the town of Pargua, where we will board a ferry to navigate through the Chacao Channel, which separates the mainland with the Isla Grande de Chiloé. During the navigation, we can observe sea lions, pelicans and marine birds typical of this region.
We will dock in the village of Chacao, where we can see typical constructions of Alerce wood and also one of the churches declared National Monument, to then continue our journey to Dalcahue, a city located in front of the Island of Quinchao and which has a traditional Market of Palafitos with a spectacular view. In addition, we will visit its Church, typical construction that is part of the World Heritage.
Later we will continue our trip to the city of Castro, capital of the Isla Grande de Chiloé; where from the traditional Gamboa viewpoint we can take a beautiful postcard of its world-famous Palafitos, visit the San Francisco Church in front of the Plaza de la Ciudad and visit the largest Craft Market on the Island.
On our return we will visit the city of Ancud, where we can visit the San Antonio Fort; historic site located in the upper part of the city, built in the late eighteenth century and part of one of the last Spanish fortifications in our country, the Local Museum, the Plaza de Armas and its Municipal Market that offers varied dining options of the Island.
The lunch place (not included) will be coordinated with the guide depending on the schedule and logistics of the excursion.
Breakfast at Hotel. Departure to Petrohué, bordering Lake Llanquihue. Imposing views of the Osorno and Calbuco Volcano dominate the entire landscape. Entrance to the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park where we will visit the Petrohué Falls, capricious forms of volcanic rock, bathed by falls of emerald green water. Arrival at Petrohué. We will sail to Peulla, sailing the Todos los Santos Lake. We will enjoy new views of the Osorno Volcano, Cerro Puntiagudo and Cerro Tronador will surprise us. Arrival in Peulla, ecological Villa, paradise for nature lovers (lunch on behalf of passengers).
We will board a bus to Puerto Frías. Chilean Customs for the process of leaving the country. We will cross the Andes Mountain Range at only 976 m.s.n.m. We will go down a winding road to Puerto Frias, sailing down Lago Frias, towards Puerto Alegre. In Puerto Alegre we will take a bus to Puerto Blest. From Puerto Blest, we will start the last navigation through Nahuel Huapi Lake, bound for Puerto Pañuelo. In Puerto Pañuelo, we will take a bus to make the final stretch to the “City of Argentine Tourism”, Bariloche. City that in winter and summer fascinates the tourist for its ski centers, shops, hotels, restaurants and nightlife. Arrival at the crossing of lakes in the center of Bariloche.
Breakfast at the hotel we left from the hotel for the half-day excursion to the small circuit (Circuito Chico). It is one of the most traditional and classic excursions of the city, we started bordering the majestic lake Nahuel Huapi, for that same route we approach the 17,000 km where the Campanario hill is located. Once the ascent and descent of the bell tower ends, we will go to Puerto Pañuelo where we will see Gran Llao Llao Hotel and San Eduardo Chapel, continuing the journey we will cross Villa Tacul and the Escondido Lake, a few km away we will find the viewpoint of Moreno Lake, ideal for capture incredible photographs. From there circulating on the return route to Bariloche. Back to hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel our tour begins during the morning, where we will go through one of the main avenues: 9 de Julio, where we will see the Colon Theater and the Obelisk, emblematic monument of the city.
Then we will visit the Plaza de Mayo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Government House, the Cabildo are the emblematic buildings that we can observe and photograph.
The tour continues south through the old neighborhood of San Telmo, passing through Parque Lezama, we will continue further south until we reach the neighborhood of La Boca, where we will see the famous football stadium of Boca Juniors, one of the greatest exponents of the Argentine passion.
Visit the famous Caminito: Attractive tourist center, full of color, magic and history. Another important route is Puerto Madero, the last and most modern neighborhood of the city, Retiro with its central plaza San Martín, connecting with the avenue of Libertador and entering the most exclusive sector of Buenos Aires, entering the neighborhood of Palermo, green area of the city.
Then we will travel through the exclusive and sophisticated neighborhood of La Recoleta to finish our excursion in the downtown area where we will say goodbye to each participant thanking them and waiting for them to see them at some future opportunity. Back to hotel.
